One interesting thing I've noticed is I feel I am 'cut off', or at least pulled in front of in short notice more often when driving in daylight with headlights on. Seems to happen often on the freeway, I'll notice that people seem to be pulling in front a lot then realise I still have headlights (started driving early morning before sun up). Turn them off and it happens less.
I wonder why? Is it because I am more visible so other drivers know they have enough space to squeeze in, but with lights off its a touch more risky so they avoid it?
Or do they assume I'm some cautious old man with lights on so better cut me off incase I get in front and slow them down?

Anyway what's the problem?
Is there a use by date on information?
Is there a time limit on threads?
If so, just archive them, or lock them after 5 years or whatever time doesn't offend you.
If I broke some unwritten rule or secret forum protocol, say that instead.

Welcome, mate! I support you here. Maybe directly quoting someone from years ago isn't the best thing to do, but if you have a relevant reply to an old thread - and you did - then go for it.
Had you started a new thread to say what you had to say someone would have pasted a link to this thread anyway so you can't win.
