I did see they have a standard hybrid Escape in the UK, as well as the plug in hybrid we are getting here. It would have been interesting to see where they would have priced that if it was coming here. I would have liked to see how close it came to the extra Toyota charge to get the hybrid RAV4 over the non hybrid. Or wether it would be a lot more than the 2k Toyota are charging. They also have a mild hybrid ecoblue version.
The RAV4 hybrid waiting list is out to 9 months, and there are facebook groups of angry customers ****ed off cause of the way Toyota is handling it, lying about delivery dates and in some cases providing no updates at all.
