Default Re: is the 4x4 honeymoon over?

I'm also I'm a no tow anything type, box trailer here and there years ago but s tuff it couldn't be bothered.
I'm also a naughty dual cab ex owner that when items too long or large I do it anyway.
Leave tail gate down, whatever can hang past the tailgate tied down.
Also dual cab had a hardlid, hate the canopies so always a hardlid.
Whatever was too high I just leave the hardlid up and drove home, use an occy to hold the hardlid down on the item but having a towel to avoid any damage.
Main thing was the dual cab did near on most things I needed to get done.
For the wifes shopping I fixed a piece of timber behind the wheel arch humps so all her stuff wouldn't fly forward when I braked late haha worked a treat.
What ever you end up buying won't tick all the box's as well, nothing ever does but most is enough.
I'm with you PG re wait times, couldn't be bothered, so much can change between 6 to 15mths - low k pre owned is the go to.
Recently I was in similar position about what to buy that covered my wants and compramise's.
Name down for the V6 Adventura, prior to be advised I'm in for the first allocation I had already asked myself do I really want another Dual Cab, nope, pulled the pin even easier when they said 6/12mths I made the right call in the first place.

Done it twice of late.
