We thought we would do more 4x4ing in it than what we have. Once again, circumstances have changed with work etc.

I knew that the tub was a compromise when we bought it, however, whenever I have needed to use it as a ute, it has not suited my needs. I had to pick up an electric reclining chair the other day. I knew it would be heavy so I took the Falcon ute so I didn't have to pick it up as high to get it in the tub.

I am not saying dual cabs are rubbish, in fact, our dual cab has been fantastic generally, it just has not suited our needs.
Fair enough. No one has a crystal ball.

Not everyone has a falcon ute or wagon as a back up though so many people would have to arrange alternative methods for large items regardless of what car they have, so bit unfair to critisize a dual cab too heavily for not being able to take larger items.

It's like saying sedans are rubbish today because I used to be able to fit a 44gallon drum in the boot.
