Hello, i'm wondering if a car with:
"- 2.25" Full Sports Exhaust. " would be legal for a Vic P-Plater to drive? The car is a 1987 XF Falcon converted to run off LPG only. If i bought now (on Ls) would i be able to drive it in 2 years time? Thanks. |

As long as it's not overly loud, I think you'll be safe bud.

The XE had a 2 inch standard, I'd say the XF had the same. My EL XR6 comes with a 2.25" standard, so I doubt the XF runs any bigger than 2 inch, considering it struggles to reach 5000RPM. A modified exhaust is considered a performance mod by insurance companies at least.

According to AAMI...anything above standard is considered a performance enhancing modification. As far as VIC laws....no idea.
