what a bs Ford V Holden test.... and they didn't like the fact the F6 was a 6 - they prefered an 8... well they should have throwen that in with the damn test!!!!!!
As much as this is the best Australian Car show, the tests they do are all rushed... I also think the comment that "No one is buying these things (Falcons) is a load of crap too. Note to Ford - None of the Audiance wants a FWD Falcon...

As in the other thread.
I'm not convinced. This is rubbish, but I'm in the audience to be aired in Two Weeks, so I'm going to keep suffering on a Monday Night until then. Poor GT-40 in the beginning, but Dunlop will be happy with the Typhoon v Clubsport 'test'. Can they call it a test without a verdict? Kia Chaser - FWD Falcon will not happen, they did, however, single handedly kill Falcon Sales.

again, as in the other thread:
on the other hand, they mentioned FORD (one or another) in every segment so far: Ford GT, FPV F6,: FWD Falcon, Ford Ka (007) Falcon Ute,.......

*they showed more of the track (I finally was able to get the idea of it)

I was one who said give it some time when people started bagging out the first episode, but now they have lost me.
Firstly before the F6/R8 test they said one group will love us the other will hate us. then to finish it up with no decision is just stupid. Then in the mine segment. the question was are these cars more efficient then the big rig, only to work out how efficient the cars were with each other and not compare it to the truck, and again having a tie. Also i would of liked them to do a lap time of the F6 and R8 you could barley see which one won in the drag. my 2c's

All the footage for the tests have been filmed already, but that still doesn't mean they don't have control over the editing week to week. If they read reviews on how people thought they should show more track time and better camera angles, then you get the lackeys to go back and re-edit before airing. I thought this ep was better then the first. I still hate the main presenter though. The way he talks with his hands and cuts people off in weird ways annoys the out of me. And whats with the wierd pauses when people stop talking??? FFS get some personality son! Why have a bloody catoonist as your third though? He has no real personality either, doesn't exactly look good on camera, and knows next to nothing about what people want to hear about with cars. Even James May knew more when he started then this bloke does now! |

Ho Hum more drivel. What a crap H v F test, couldn't make a decision and did heaps more in the Ford. Plenty of lag for the F6 off the line.

That was a very big step up from last weeks episode. I really did enjoy that episode. The little one wasnt noisy they all looked much more comfortable.
You gotta drool at the sound of that Ford GT, my god that sounded awesome. Big thumbs up for these guys. I'll be watching next week. |
