Default Ultimate Driving Fantasy

Can you describe your ultimate driving fantasy, a time/place/vehicle that you would be happy to freeze in time or relive in your head forever. For example, mine is going down a desert highway, in the cool of the night, in a Mustang convertible (with the eagles Hotel California playing on the radio).. very unimaginative I know

Driving LA to Vegas (Route 66) in an old classic. E.g. Cadillac, Mustang, whatever.

Got a rented Mondeo Diesel wagon up to and maintained 210 between Schweinfurt and Hamburg when last over in Europe , scared my coworker to death , told him to lighten up and live a little . Mind you we were being passed every few seconds by Benzes , BM's , Audi's , Porsches etc , you get the idea . He told me afterwards he'd never been above 100 KPH in a car in his life . For some strange reason he has refused to ever get in a car with me since that day .

Whilst I like your choice of car, I think you'll find I'll never be finished with Ms Alba and she won't want to leave that GT40 once I've shown her a few laps in that thing!

300km/h past the Victorian state parlement house with the slip stream knocking Scrooby and Lay on their bums and into a speed camera causing both of them to suffer amnesia and take legal action against the Victorian government for misusing road safety as a revinue source instead of a public service.

Ultimate driving fantasy?
Being able to do a consistent 100km/hr on the Gateway motorway, with people keeping left after overtaking.
That is a real fantasy.

My idea would be much the same. Crusing the deserted australian highways alone in a all black XB Falcon GT coupe on a warm summers night. Just following the open road no matter where it takes me. Absoulte freedom! (til I run out of fuel).
