Tinting over aftermarket demister.

Hi all
Doing my project at the mement and it uses and XD panel van rear window (fold up type) which obviously doesnt have a demister.
Well I want to put one of the aftermarket stick on demisters on it for obvious reasons , BUT will be tinting the windows.
So the question is can the window tint be put over the old school aftermarket , stick on type window demisters and be successful?
Have called a couple of tint places and the girl on the phone just replies with a "dont know"
Anyone got any experience with such things?
