Default Car Audio Australia (MEA/ROAD) dead?

Went to go on the Car audio australia/MEA/ROAD or whatever they call themselves these days website a couple of weeks ago and it says maintenance in progress and that the website is currently down, but nothing has changed recently.

Is anyone here a member and knows whats going on?

Car Audio Australia still comes up, or are you talking about a different company ?

You mean the forum? Man I used to live there. Don't know if Marc is still associated but I know he was into stereo.net.au also might ask there. I've avoided MEA for ages (CAA pre MEA) costs me wayyy too much money.

No idea who they are, but CAA was a forum for car audio people

Yep, the forum.

I've sent Marc a message on facebook, but no response :-(

I'd hate to see a great resource like CAA lost........

after asking on Stereo.net, it turns out CAA has been killed off due to declining membership and support :-(

Wow, used to be buzzing. I'd be interested if there is a matching decline in sales of car audio equipment these days....wouldn't surprise. New cars are just making it harder to go aftermarket and while the systems are rarely flash they're semi decent enough over the crap they used to have.

It's a shame its gone offline a TON of knowledge and good discussion.
