I like the Everest, but very different vehicle. I think more choices are a good thing. Everest for small family with light to moderate towing and some light off-road. Expedition for larger families, or more luxury for longer trips, and heavier towing. Bronco for moderate to advanced off-road trails.
Horses for courses, driven an Everest and it was a disappointment, nowhere near a replacement for Territory, but Ford has nothing else in its stable. Current gen explorer was more than a perfect replacement however.
