Well they've been making complete MK1 & 2 Escort bodyshells in the UK for a while now.

They come with a recognized vin number and are road registerable in the UK. Engine options range from BDG/Cosworth, 2.5 Duratec up to a 330+hp Millington. Gearboxes are also optional from 5spd H-pattern to a sequential 6spd. Multi link rear suspension and brake packages are also optional. The prices are eyewatering but with the UK club rallying scene as big as it is no doubt these will sell.
