I admit it,puffdaddy's blown 899ci motor is more powerfull than a stock adr27a cleveland..

well i dont have concrete proff or evidence to back it up . only from about 22 years ago. i worked with a fellow that had one . a gt ho ph III. the barstard never let me ride in it . he claimed it only got around 7 to 9 MPG.
I made enquiries to 2 others that i new of , and they said that was about right . mind you . i didnt know of mods .
i had a TC CORTINA 250 STOCKER AUTO WITH AIR . back then and it was getting 17 MPG. ghich was about 28 km /4.5 litre = 6.2km /litre = 16.1 litres / 100km . so even i thought the gtho numbers were a boit rough.
anyhow what were the official figures of the day . ???
i remember having lots of conversations of 7 to 10 mpg for GTHO. and 15 to 18 MPG FOR STOCK 250 CC FALCONS of the day

even FLAPPIST . ithink made a post that high speed outback cruising an a BA GT. ONLY PRODUCED ABOUT 220 kms out of a tank which = about 32litres / 100km in a 5.4 boss 290.

The 94 Boss Mustang is a weapon but to call it production is stretching the trutha teensy bit. Based on a 429 but hardly production (Didn't Coletti keep it when he retired?).

you're using UK gallons in your conversions. in my LTD, with standard everything, i get between 16-23L to 100Km and this was supposed to be one of the worse fuel efficient cars to come with a 351. a lot heavier than a falcon too.

struth . some stock gt's are doing 18l/ 100km. so with all this economy technology, 30 years later . the new v8s and 6cyls . are producing slightly better times , and not much better economy. hmmm

I think I made an error before in my statement about Barry Dawson having more power than a 351.

I have since learnt that Rick Kellys fist has more torque then a 351.
