I have a pic of a HR holden I saw near the floating markets many moons ago. It had lasted the last 40 or so years there so I don't see why it wouldn't still be there.

i'm heading back at the end of march for a week to catch up with my girl, going to be heading up near Burirum for a few days to see some ancient temples & meet the family so it should be an interesting few days. hope to set the wheels in motion for a few things whilst i'm there |

Good luck and find out Thai for "walking ATM" as that what my brother say's they call the visitors. If heard hold wallet tightly.
I'm hoping to be in the area, in southern Nam, with the family about that time, just looking into it at the moment. That or Cambodia. |

i've heard of foreigners being called ATM's but not walking ATM's, they call foreigners 'falang' i think when you hear that you should hold on to your wallet & anything else valuable. the onlt times i've been ripped off is when i've been to a tiger zoo or an island classed as a national park, both times it was something like 20 baht for thais & 200 baht for falang entry fee.
will see how it pans out this time when i go up country. if you might be in thailand at the start of april let me know & i'll pm you my thai phone# |
