What's more interesting are the comments from American buyers. Doesn't appear to be much if a hit.

Does look horrid with the changes for the US market.

Can only hope the VF Omega's ugly looks push more people/fleets into FG XTs etc.

Be nice to see more FGs in police form as well.

Interesting to see some 'real' pics of the interior instead of Holden's press photos. That dash shot looks bloody stupid, talk about a jumbled mess of different things, its like they just emptied a box of interior parts in there and said voila

It will sell double if it comes standard in Aus with a Chevrolet badge, that said it is not too bad an effort. Certainly better than a camry or a Bore-ion.

I was actually thinking the same thing ....... liked the original shots but now really does look like the parts bin of 5 different models. Don't know what the buttons are on the dash near the drivers door ...... bit of overload happening.

Yep looks shocking, so much for Holden talking big of moving Commodore upmarket. It looks like a $19,990 drive away special.

Is that including or excluding GST and the Carbon Tax?

Oh oh. VF could get a twin-turbo DI V6, if Holden is smart. With 315kw/580Nm (brilliant!). 0-100 in 4.6 seconds (brilliant!), 14L/100km city, 9.5L/100 highway (not so brilliant, but could be worse).

I know you say that in jest, but i'd like to seen them try it, offer the chevy ss along side the commodore ss and see how far 'buy aussie' goes.

Actually that is a brilliant idea.

To increase build numbers they could make a "Taxi" version that was low performance, high economy factory lpg or hybrid, no unnecessary instrumentation and plastic seating that is sufficiently water proof that it can be hosed out.

So as not to deposition the domestic commodores it would be marketed as "Chevrolet Taxi" and have all lion badges replaced by factory bowties.

It would also help at night after a few drinks when you want a ride home look for the commodore with the bowtie and yell "HEY TAXI".

The law could be ammended so that "impersonating a taxi" becomes a "hoon offence" and any vehicles that are fitted with fake taxi bowties would be confiscated and crushed.

What a win win, more jobs building cars and at the same time attacking the hoon problem right in its core.

I love the look of the front. The side profile looks very similar to the VE, still looking good however. I'm not sold on the back, I think it looks relativly simple and cheap compared to the rest of the car, I guess they were limited to what they could do with it.

Yeah nah. They've been "coulda woulda shoulda" on the TTV6 front for years. If it was going to happen, it would have happened by now.

Not a bad looking car.

The interiors are where I think they've got the edge over the Falcons though.
