Hi all,
I'd like to get some G8E badges made for my car. I've tried to make hybrid G6E and XR8 badges into one but the 8 doesn't sit correctly with the GE, so I'd like to find out if anyone knows where I can get a custom made one please? Cheers Geoff |

IMO the 8 looks wrong, you could use an older model 8. Maybe from an e series, the lettering is block style, it's just the size that may not match?

I think it looks fine as well ....... but its killing me and have to ask even though everyone can do what ever they want to their own cars ........ why?
PS: Go for a walk through pick a part and see what they have to offer! Must be something you can use from another model?

Try maybe this:
http://www.teamtorquesteer.co.uk/fie...s-numbers.html Along with this: http://www.teamtorquesteer.co.uk/fie...s-numbers.html I know its not the perfect replacement for the G6E font, but its a replica of the font used on all the other Ford vehicles "Falcon" "Mondeo" "Titanium" "Zetec" badges essentially, won't be the same as your G6E font but it might be something to consider?

No one has asked the question yet, why do you need/want G8E badges for your car? Is there a project in the works here you haven't shared with us hmmm

Thanks all, as for why?
It's just something I'm playing with. The XR8 badges have now gone. The first badge above is of course just photoshopped. Cheers Geoff |

Ah yes. Great project. The G6E is the best looking of the FG range. Very Aston Martin.
The parts stores. Autobarn etc. sell individual letter and numbers. I think they are about $3 each. So you can at least get the 3 in a matching font and just sand and paint the 8 in red or black.

Just get someone with a 3D printer to make what you want. If you can draw it they can make it.

Yeah I reckon the 3D printer would be the best option.
