Thank goodness it's much more treatable these days than it used to be.
Our very clever doctors, researchers and chemists have done a brilliant job in discovering ways to attack and treat these cancers. It's still a very scary thing though and can be a rough journey. I wish Crompo all the best in his fight. As an aside, JB seems to be responding to treatment well. |

Not good at all but as mentioned, a far better chance of beating this type these days, all the best Crompo I'm sure you will beat it.

Yes not good news, hopefully they have got onto it early for Cromly.....one of the advantages of holding a motorsport license is the medicals that are required...it makes us guys go and get tested cos you cant race without a license....one of my mates had his prostate cancer picked up really early because of it and it has saved his life.....he had no symptoms either....get checked guys...we are not as bulletproof as we think!!!

Hi Guys,
I heard about Neil this evening on the radio. I think Neil Crompton is the best motor racing commentator going and is also very knowledgeable. I remember Neil in his racing days with Coke, before that he was with Glen Seton, and he drove with HRT also. I wish him well and a seedy recovery. My father in law had prostate cancer 13 years ago and his now 84 years old and still going strong. GET WELL SOON NEIL |
