Default EA to EB boot lock mechanism

i've searched and searched and haven't found anything todo with boot locks, i have a 92 EB fairmont and my boot lock doesn't work and i can't fix it can't be bothered getting another one but my friend brought home a EA he picked up for nothing and he said any part i need he'll give me so i thought boot lock but i looked and there completely different, i don't want to put the boot lid on my car because well its green and my car is white.
any ideas at all? all help will be great thank you

You could try a local wreckers and see if you can find an EB boot lock.

The EA one may be a non electric one as GLs didnt get a push button release. You'll need a high series one from EA-ED

its electric well the EA one is its not the same as the eb it has the motor on up under the frame of the boot, $44 is the cheapest here but im saving money for a XF im getting thursday
