i saw some bloke in a ve commodore with "e series" numberplate the other day.
Maybe someone should tell him ford actually did an e series from the ea to the el,a series is a series of cars not 1 model. Felt like slapping the bloke. Holden have no right to call it the e series when its 1 friggin car ffs. That makes me angry. |

Really? You're angry and want to slap some guy over a number plate?
Never heard of an EH, EJ or EK? VE HSV's are commonly known as E series of which there have been 3. I wish my worries were confined to someone else's numberplate on their HSV. |

E-series refers to HSV's ve-based models, E1, E2 and E3.
Nothing to cry about.

I owned an EA and an EF - also owned an E1 Series HSV.
I have bigger problems than worrying what HSV owners stuck on their licence plates. |

Its a number plate and everyone is entitled to their opinion on things. If you think that OP's thread is valuable, post. If you do not, fast forward to the next thread. No need for the argumentative stuff....

VY was Y series, VZ was Z series and so on. When VE came along naturally they would be called E series. If they named it the EA Clubsport SVO Sprint then I understand. But it's just a reflection of the VE model line, they're not stealing any thunder from 90's Fords.
