car damaged by dealer - how to go about getting fixed

not bashing, seeing what my chances are of getting it fixed - and it looks like the verdict is 0.

i'll try to see the manager next week, and hopefully speak to or get the manager to speak to the mechanic that worked on it. i'm guessing that the mechanic won't remember (really won't or magically won't) but it's worth a shot. i can remember jobs i have done at work from years ago, but servicing hyundai's day in/day out might not stick in your head..

You're not, but can't say that about some other things I've read throughout this thread

I seriously doubt the mechanic will remember your car.....I fix cars for a crust and there would have to be something that really sticks out for me to remember a specific car.

Sneaky your chances aren't good , as you didn't notice the damage they can quite rightly clain it was done after leaving their workshop. I am not saying you did the damage but enough time has passed to create doubt.
I think you might have to wear it this time and in future check the car before and after servicing while still at the dealer. before pics would be a good idea too
