Woo! It was a tight second corner where the 'ol Holden got spat and Frosty took off and held the gap across the mountain to cross the line and bring the blue oval back into the winners books!

Well done the Blue Oval. |

Best bathurst finish i've seen in quite a while.
Nice to see FPR getting a win. The last couple of laps were nail biting... |

Wow was glued to the TV all day from start to finish.
Amazing drive by Frosty, really showed great skill and composure very deserving of the win especially with all the bad luck he has had at previous years on the mountain. Must say just reinforced my opinion of Whincup when he started flashing his lights for two laps, what an idiot. Really enjoyed watching the racing between Bright, Tander and Lowndes and very happy that Lowndes was able to sneak on to the podium. All in All amazing day of racing and really really revived allot of faith in the racing for me, not only seeing FPR win but seeing that many competitive cars at the end. Well Played FPR |

Most enjoyable race, the battle between tander, lowndes and bright was pretty good, top drive by winter bottom, he drove very well under pressure, wincup drove well as usual, what is with the ****y flashing lights ? do all the cars have these?

I was really hoping for a bit of variety and for Nissan or Mercedes to pull one out of the hat.
Maybe next year when Volvo and possibly others start getting involved. I mainly just want to see two things: 1: variety, not just a two horse boring race with an endless procession of Commodore/Falcon/Commodore/Falcon/Commodore/oh-look-there's-another-Falcon. And 2: I want to see heads of the mobs on the mountain explode in apopleptic rage when something that isn't red or blue wins the great race... |

Fantastic win, how intense where the last two laps.
Even better was the amount of Holden's that got beaten.

Great job Frosty, that's the most riveting 30 laps I've watched at Bathurst in 10 years. And how miserable was JW on the podium, he couldn't even bring himself to congratulate Frosty and the ford team beyond a cursory mention of car 5.
And what about Mr Elbows in the HSV. I was annoyed when he over committed and elbowed Lownsy out of the way but we all knew what was coming and so did Lowndes. It was a foregone conclusion that he'd do the same to Bright so Loundsy just sat off them and waited for the over commitment and the elbows. You can see why Bright was pi$$ed off considering he gave Mr Elbows racing room the lap before.

So happy go Frosty. One of the genuine nice guys in pitlane. Not a hint of arrogance about him (unlike whingcup). One of the fairest drivers too. Not too many instances of Frosty punting another guy for position. In fact I've been critical of him at times for his lack of aggression.
This result had me teering up. A great win for the good guys. A turning point for FPR I hope. Outnumbered almost 3-1 by ******* VF's and 3 Falcons in the top 10. So So proud!!! |

There's no way that Whincup was ever going to get around Frosty at Forest elbow, the marbles and dirt on the left is way too slippery, luckily he didn't crash into Frosty. Guess it will be a quiet night for the Holden fans... |
