Is the owner of a drag strip making money out of drag racers any different to a greenkeeper making money out of lawn bowling clubs or a mechanic making money out of tuning and building engines?

The way i see it is thus. Racing at calder, whether you like Bob Jane or not, is:
1- Not against the law
2- Safer than racing on the street
3- Much more morally justified than racing on the street
4- Gives you more bragging rights than racing on the street (ie timeslips)

And I could go on. Let's face it, there's only one way to really put it:

Talks cheap, let's race!

I will always have a preference to race at Heathcote personally as I like the place, get along well with the staff and get treated well by management. I also find it to be much more relaxed and laid back, BUT I also support Calder Park, because I support drag racing and the people who participate in it at drag strips!
