Also worth noting the Pad Washer doesn't include the DirtLock insert which needs to be purchased separately. https://www.waxit.com.au/collections...-bucket-insert

Here's a little tip for those emergency spot clean ups when you are out and about.
I keep two wet clean microfibre clothes in a sealed plastic jar to keep them moist and wet, in the boot. Makes cleaning up bird droppings and tree sap on your paintwork easy when on the road. (Always best to clean these acidic droppings while fresh as soon as possible, before they bake on under the hot sun and cause possible clear coat damage). If you want, you can saturate the clothes in one of those "water-less" wash solutions, or soapy water, instead of water if you prefer. Always at the ready... Quick and easy. |

Will let you know mate, I bought it as a cheap alternative to clean leather. I was using colourlock leather cleaner but it just isn't cost effective. The pros seem to be using it 1:10 and said it works great.

The best product for tonneau covers is 303 Aerospace Protectant. https://www.supercheapauto.com.au/p/...ml/525929.html https://www.waxit.com.au/collections...SAAEgJCKfD_BwE This is a water based dressing so will give you up to 5 months of enhancement. What I love about 303 is how easily it applies and soaks into the surface being treated. It also wont leaves a greasy or oily finish that will streak down your painted tub. Apply with a microfiber applicator pad or even a round foam wax applicator. Follow up after 15 min with a wipe with a clean, dry cloth.

G'day All Thought I'd share my 50 Aussie Pesos worth. I've used ToughSeal on my Falcons, last a good 3 years and comes out schmick every time you wash. Washing is simple as well, use their shampoo, dry and if u want spray on their dry shine. Works a treat and reduces wash time.

All three would be excellent choices. Both 303 and Perl can be used for interior and interior dressing, including leather and tyres.

https://www.waxit.com.au/products/ca...343329d7&_ss=r I use it heavily diluted for use on rubber cargo and floor mats. In general, dressing these items is not really recommended, but I have found at a heavy dilution, Perl ads some richness back into these areas without adding slipperiness underfoot. I will also use that dilution on wheel arch liners. Perl looks great on tyres too. Most dilute it 1:1 but I use straight from the bottle, using a old Adam's pop-top bottle cap for ease of use.

This is from way out in left field.
But would the right ratio of Perl mixed into one of these make it easier and less messy to apply to tyres? I was looking at them in the supermarket. Some of them have a flat bottom so can be stood up right when not in use also. Just a crazy thought anyways.

Finished the last of my Nova products today, using the last sprays of Lustre on the sills and bumpers. I found both Jet and Lustre top notch products.
That said, i will stick with bowdens own fully slick and boss gloss. They are cheaper, and i cant really justify the Nova products on a 17 year old daily. A question for the ether ... how often does everyone wash their big green sucker? I rarely use it as im washing the car so little. With 1177 coats of fully slick on the brightwork, dirt mostly slides off, but im hesitant to wash the big green thing too often.

I wash my microfibre drying towels after every detail. They undoubtedly pick up dirt in the drying process and not washing them has potential to cause scratches.

Most certainly worth washing any towel after each use.

I really like how Perl looks at full strength on tyres, it's also dry to touch once it has cured. Considering how versatile Perl is, and it's disputable formula, $19 per 500ml bottle is cheap for such a high end detailing product. I though I would add some recommended dilutions for this product - External Plastics: 1:1 to 1:3 Engine: 1:1 to 1:3 Tires & Rubber: Undiluted to 1:1 Interior Vinyl and Leather: 1:5 And for those who find dilutions a challenge like me, I'm a gardener not a maths teacher , get yourself one of these CarPro Dilute bottles. All you do is fill the bottle with water to the desired dilution line then add the product to the top line. I then poor the dilution into my chosen sprayer bottle. https://www.waxit.com.au/products/ca...u&_ss=e&_v=1.0

Been a few weeks since I last washed my car due to a range of factors. Last time I washed it I finished with wet dreams using the 'spray on and pressure wash off' method.
I was already very pleased with how the NV snow worked as a snow foam and this time was no different.. Well it was actually. I'm assuming due to the application of wet dreams. After rinsing the foam the car was spotless. I should have taken a pic of how dirty it was. I was super impressed. Not sure how long wet dreams will last for but the ease at which these products can be applied there really is no excuse for not having a nice clean car.

I'm not usually one for cosmetic jobs, but I did try it on a hose in the engine bay just to see what it looked like, and ended up applying it to all the hoses

So a top up every second or third wash... Pretty low maintenance really.
It was mainly the fact the car was clean without the need to hand wash that impressed me the most. Might look in to some other spray on coatings.
