both manuals and autos are great in their own ways. however we have 3 manuals - one i changed from auto and the other 2 my wife wanted a manual. i am more than happy with that because a 121 jellybean or a 4 cyl rav 4 in auto would not be a pleasant driving experience
i did enjoy the na fairlaine's auto, but the ar telstar with auto wasn't as nice i guess 6 or 8 cyl - autos can be good - 4 cyl . . . . less so overall though, i think i would choose manual . . . sometimes i am not sure why, but i still would. maybe i am just a boy racer at heart . . . and proud to be so |

Well don't know bout Aus but here in NZ finding a manual XR8 XR6t etc is much harder an worth a good few dollars more the many doz auto's of course the ZF has changed things with such a better auto/manual set-up still I love hooking the gears an being busy on the pedals on many of are local roads here in Otago some of the best in the world if you like elevation corners etc
