Ford is similar in some models. Territory uses falcon dash, FG used Focus XR5 rims styling.

There are pictures on the wikipedia page showing it. It's a styling feature of window in the rear door.

I like cut out of the front guards behind the wheels.

Looks like the cruze has morphed onto the rear end.

Ford take note of the car stance and wheel offsets.

With every Australian contributing around $17 per year to keep the car industry going no wonder Holden are optimistic. Let's see if they can survive on there own without government subsidies.

I think it looks pretty good for the most part but there's something that doesn't sit right with me at the front end.

I'm impressed with the tech and interior.

I'm keen to see what HSV will do with that rear end, it looks ok but it doesn't suit the rest of the car.

For the sake of the Falcon this car needs to be a success, I hope it does well.

Don't forget Canada, US, England, France, Italy... Each taxpayer over there pays multiple times the level of what each taxpayer pays here.

Interesting to see the return of wood grain to the Calais, it hasn't had wood for 7 years.

Suede dashboard is interesting.

True, but you get to drive quality vehicles like Mercedes Benz, BMW and Audi at the same price as a Falcon or Commodore.

I saw different styling cues on it - opel / buick front grille, grown up Cruze headlights, Chev / Camaro taillights, Jag front guard vents, BMW kink... All up I have to say I didn't mind it. Lots of new 'tech' features that people will go nuts for (and that many here have been crying out for Falcon to get) all standard on every model.

If Ford are serious about the Falcon, we'll soon find out. They're playing catch-up now and if they don't at least draw level on equipment, we'll know they're not.

I have faith that they are and cannot wait to see FH (is that what we're calling it?) reveal.

Great safety feature, not just tech gimmickry.

Looks like GMH are closing the gap to the Euros.

Interesting to see Fords counter .....
