regardless Endura's boot space is bigger than its 2019 competitors, and bigger than the narrower 4WDs like Everest/Prado etc. making it your top choice for upgrade?

Ford imho now that I've actually seen the competitors prices are asking too much for an AWD Titanium Endura...just on my very quick research I could go CX-9 Azami LE AWD in a red with cream interior. |

But the CX9 has 810L boot..
Top price for a top of the line Endura on carsales is 76K. the CX9s you see are 2018 clearance models no 2019 listed - expect to pay less. the Fords will get cheaper in a year too. Why so negative towards it?

As to boot size, according to Ford Oz's website it's the same as CX-9 so that's not relevant. All Endura's are 2018 builds as well. Negativity..yeah true.. maybe it's because it's the first time where I cannot walk into a Ford dealership and sign an order within 30 minutes knowing clearly I've bought a better vehicle then the one I am trading in. |

What year/model territory do you have again?
PS 4.5 years ago you posted the boot space as 1110L yourself? I liked your post https://www.fordforums.com.au/showth...31#post5137431

My current Terry is a Aug 2016 AWD Titanium so last few months of production. Before that I had a 2014 SZ RWD that was written off and before that a 2012 RWD. |

Cargo space for Ford Edge is listed as 39.2 cu ft or 1110 litres...

Apart from the UK, Australia and New Zealand are the only other major RHD markets for the Edge/Endura, so if it gets cancelled in the UK, I can't imagine Ford will continue with the idea for our part of the world. In Europe it sold 9,527 Units in 2018, which is 40% down on 2017 figures! Not sure what the figures are for the UK for the Edge/Endura? If Ford in the US decide to focus on LHD products, it only leave Ford Europe to give us anything. |

(UK and Germany are Ford Europe's largest markets) I wonder if Ford AUS will keep Endura to recoup some of the RHD development costs and if that happens, I think they need a 2.0 EB version to get into the pricing game otherwise other bigger 3-row vehicles like Acadia, Kluger and even CX-9 are going to be better value. |

Territory is 78mm longer than Endura, but remember it has a longer bonnet. Endura is taller and wider by small margins - looks can be deceiving. see my link above for Canadas specs where the thing is made.. all in metric too

perhaps the Ford aust site is in error when it states 'laden to roof' in 5 seat mode? Perhaps 800L is the capacity when laden to seat height? Only thing I can think of given all other country specs for Edge/Endura are consistent.

Also shows how big the Explorer is! A lot of car makers only list the space as level with the rear seat. an X5 only shows 650 Liters

Looks like they're almost getting ready to exit the Edge from the UK market. Meanwhile, they managed to sell 226 units for the month of Feb in Australia, it's best ever result. It also managed to outsell the Holden Acadia, I know they're not competitors, which managed 219 units. |

Holden has a problem with Acadia in that it's locked into fairly low sales supply and even if its has more buyers, I think it's doubtful that they could fill orders. Sales of Edge have dropped significantly in Europe, I don't have all the split outs for Ford UK but combined LHD ? RHD sales are as follows, FOE Edge LHD + RHD........your RHD figures 2016.................9,882 2017...............16,000.............4,102 2018.................6,200.............1,687 Something we need to understand about UK sales of Edge, since 2016 Ford only sells Titanium ( £36,995) and ST-Line versions (£42,995) and now, Vignale (£45,995) So no Trend or SE model, like our Endura has. That pricing is poisonously high... I don't care who Ford thinks that are, you just can't start Edge at the equivalent of AUS$70,000 and expect any sales, whoever authorized that needs to be fired, fast. IMO, the Euros are fed up with Ford ridiculous pricing and withdrawing the popular 8-speed manual trans was probably the last straw for a manual trans centric Europe. FYI, ihe UK prices I quoted in my previous post are on the road with 20% VAT.....
In comparison, FoA's pricing is far more reasonable but still a bit high Endura Trend 2WD...........AUS$49,142 (£26,695) Endura ST-Line 2WD.........AUS$58,312 (£31,736) Endura Titanium 2WD........AUS$68,712 (£37,326) |
