I wonder if you can put in a new dash pad with out taking the dash right out and if so how is it done cheers rooster

Yes you can, did it quite a few years ago on my GS. Just have to take out the top row of screws from the instrument cluster and pull it back a bit. Be prepared to spend a bit of time under the dash undoing the nuts across the top of the dash pad and the ones above the glovebox and ignition switch. I need a Nurofen just thinking about it these days!
