Default Is this for real? $20 for 20hp

Connects a resister to the intake to trick the ECU?

If it sounds too good to be true, 99% of the time, it usually is.
Especially in this case.

Can we have a sticky about these things?
Just stating that a resistor fooling your ECU will only make it run in cold enrichment mode, using more fuel for no power increase...

Yeh a sticky would be nice to avoid people like me reposting #1253.

Having said that, I've been meaning to ask for a while, but does anyone else notice that their car feel more powerful when driving for the first 10 mins? I never give the car a hard time in the first 10 mins of driving but it certainly feels torqueir even on part throttle. It also sounds louder on idle too. Is this because it runs richer?

Its proberly because, the car is cold, thus the thermostat is closed and the fact that the ECU is in its cold enrichment mode.

But mostly it is psychosomatic... ie, all in your head :P

I dont know if it is just me, but my car feels quicker after it has been washed, lol...

They seem to be all over Ebay. People keep paying the money.
Most of the sellers do have dodgy feedback, but you need to actually look. Don't just go off their feedback percentage.

Not that I agree with this mod as MOST engines run rich when driver is in thrash mode.[Pre Euro 3].You can buy this resister from Jaycar for 80c.....
Or just take senser out of manifold??? But eaither case it WON'T work !!!
