Default Old AM Car Radios

Along with a collection of other bits and pieces I have laying about I have an old Ford radio. Its AM only with the black push buttons and 2 knobs to turn. Have been wondering for a while now are these worth money being they are so old or should I just throw it away? I dont even know what its out of or why I still have it, or even if it still works.

So whats the verdict everyone? Is this sort of thing trash or maybe a treasure worth holding onto??

Yeah I have no idea what its out of. Havent got the surround for it either. But it says ford on it and its only AM. Got 5 black push buttons and two dials one of which is missing a knob. Will put some pics up one day and maybe someone will know what its out of.

If its an XA/XB superfringe radio it averages around $60 on eBay, have seen them go as high as $80.

pics would be handy

Ok so Im new to all this and couldnt figure out how to put up a pic up. I have tried looking ebay and there isnt one the same there. The only other details I can give is the numbers on the display part go 54 70 110 160 for the stations. When I figure out how to put a pic up I will tho.

Thanks for the replies. It could be out of a xa or xb as have had a few utes sitting around as I grew up that were xa's and xb's.

you'll have to put the photos up on a photo hosting website like photobucket or flickr.

use the pictures URL which will appear as [IMG]www.... blah blah... [IMG\] or there abouts... cut and paste that link into the reply box here.

Sorry the photo is so massive (no idea how to make it smaller the whole photobucket is new to me), but this is it. Bit dusty and dirty but does anyone know what its out off? Worth anything or is it going out with the rubbish?
Thanks to all that reply.
