Surely this must have been posted here before....
I notice RHD, early WA plates, strange looking taillights- (USA/Canadian?) try and establish a time line between date of car left out paddock, age of tree etc

You will have to look it up yer-self, but it was put in the tree by property owner Eddie Ford as part of a publicity stunt for a book he was publishing......
Eddie was pretty big in the Hot Rod scene years ago, he was one of the original guys that came up with the idea of starting an Aussie Hot Rod magazine, the mag was Custom Rodder which im sure some of the older guys here remember... Besides Custom Rodder, he also published Americar Australia, Custom Vans and Trucks and histories of Ford and Holden.....

He also published 'Restored Cars' as well didn't he DJR?
