Well if you take a look back at history, the Fords raced at Bathurst late 69 and early 70's were red to begin...

I would have preffered to have seen Moff in a blue one though!

New S/C GT is released to the general public later this month.

Did anyone notice the replica ph4 XA GT driven by Leanne Tander in the muscle cars race? Nice well sorted unit I thought... and didn't it look good at the front

Was a good win by her too ...also notice she clocked 265 kmh into the chase ! ..pretty quick !

Pretty sure it was a GTP and is Allans car, i noticed it in town during the week and saw it had no press brass tag on the number plate.

Oh yeah, and we have shot it for Street Fords issue 75.

Not a replica of the Phase IV factory racers but I think most people get the jist of what this car is.

It looked great lapping the mountain, well done to Leanne!

She was driven up by one of the fpv guys and having spoken with the guy there was no mention it was Moffs and I doubt it.
Not that you could ever guess but the reason they used a RED GTP was :

1. It was not GT release time (Motor show this Friday) but another chance for all to see the new weapon
2. Red to coincide with Moffs coke mustang - yep go figure.

FTE 217 is correct it wasnt Moffs carand it was only a GT ,he has a gt e as moff was 4 cars behind me in the parade lap and was speaking to him about a whole heap of things but the red car was to resemble his 69 boss mustang ,and that was backed up by the designer from Ford i Had in the back seat

Brass tags arent press car s they are Ford owned cars they used to have round and rectangle ones front and back and it went on your ranking but now only front and rectangle
