Vive la France! 🇫🇷🇫🇷🇫🇷
I admit to watching The Official Payne (poor bloke got skewered by YT) and his mates at Auto Addiction sometimes. CarFreitag is much more interesting to me than something like F1. |

Interesting, but much like the Olympics or World Cups, I prefer the men’s competition.

I’ve got a friend who would love to have a sauna with you.

The Civic Type R time was set using (non-optional) Sport Cup 2 tyres, the Renault had factory spec Bridgestones! Mind you, there have been some changes to the track recently which have made it a little faster.

so the "production" car record is taken by a completely non-standard car, which was specifically developed for the purpose.
Rather pointless really. I'm starting to agree with James May, on his continued rant against cars developed for the N-ring. |

How is it "Non Standard"?? Its a car that Renault is selling in this specification to consumers, hence the "Production car record" part of it.... And its not something new for them either the last 2 generations of Renaultsport Megane's have had R Versions also which have pretty well been the benchmark of hot hatch's at the time...

I wonder what an FGX XR8 would do at the Ring (minus speed limiter)

I'd be surprised if it was much quicker, if at all. Is the straight long enough to make up the huge deficit it would have through the twisty bits?

So this girls car that only has 220kw is only quicker than an M4, M2 Competition, 997.2 Turbo S & GT3, GT-R and Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera?
I think I'll have to reserve judgment until I find out how fast a tough guy can drive it in a straight line in a 1/4 mile |

It also wouldn't beat a Nascar around a banked oval track, nor would it make coffee as good as a $20 machine from K-Mart. So if you happen to live in Germany, and you want a car for driving around the N-ring, then this is a brilliant option. |

That's exactly what I am claiming... For the sake of Clarity, my definition of "Standard" when it comes to cars is what you purchase brand new from the Manufacturer... You will be able to walk into a Renault Dealership here in Australia and order/purchase this car.. that's Standard in my book.

I don’t mind the subject car and my Konfetka definitely has XX chromosomes, having pushed out two children. One of my gay acquaintances drives a V8 Mustang. I think stereotyping sexuality by car choice is fraught.

Everyone knows that real tuff blokey hetero men were all born before 1980 and all drive big capacity > 5L V8’s. Check your credentials against this rule asap cos you may find there a lot more gay men out there than we all think....
