Unfortunately the 14.21 with the streetfighter cam was done with street 225's and 3.45 lsd.
Whereas the 14.17 was done with a dev5 cam, 3.9 lsd and M/T slicks
So they can't really be compared.

I'm starting to think when I had the cam changed I had a bad tank of fuel and the same tank was used at the drag strip as the car had less power in 4th gear (165rwkw with the streetfighter cam and 160rwkw with the dev5 cam).
If fuel wasn't so expensive at the moment I would take it down the 1/4 again.

Hey guys....long live the dev 5...i have the dev 5 cam in my car..i always seem to be pulling more power out of it....i managed a 14.0902 down the 1/4 mile with my 225/65/15 street radials at heathcote test n tune on the 27th of last month... i beleive i can bring that down into the 13's....with a proper tune up....new sparkies and a bit more tricks...here n der...i just love hearing my baby dev 5 cam scream its guttts off to give me more power....lol...i'd say the dev 5 kicks asss.... over any other cam...

It's a better ratio for the drag strip as I cross the line at around 5000rpm in 4th as opposed to 4000rpm. IMO if its only for the street its probably a bit excessive.
